The Major Projects are back for another year!

Launched in October, the Major Projects are designed to offer students an immersive and rewarding experience. Web Bachelors, Digital Master’s preparatory year, and Master’s in Digital Strategy: all students are involved in this educational component. Around fifteen companies are presented, and these companies set students assignments over the medium term (about 6 months). Every skill is put to the test: organisation, communication, desktop publishing design, UX design, community management, web, and more.

The diversity of the assignments made it possible to create very mixed teams: most projects benefit from a fairly broad range of skills. It is worth noting that the students were able to choose 3 projects, and all of them were placed in one of their three choices. Among the sponsoring organisations were the “Digital Arts Festival” with all the communication it involves, “Rêve en Fête” with assignments around children’s events, and many others.

The exchange of skills between generations of students and between the various areas of specialisation is a real asset within our school. That is why the major projects are an integral part of our teaching approach. To act as a link between the students and the sponsoring organisations, project managers are appointed. They are also supported by the school’s teachers: Pol Salles and André Pons. The Major Projects are an excellent way to gain professional experience. We create groups with complementary talents, with assignments to carry out, deadlines to meet, and so on., “The Major Projects are an interesting time of year. We work on concrete, complete projects that require a real commitment. And it’s rewarding to see your creations: our logo representing the company, their website built by us, and so on. Thanks to this, we gain solid experience.” Louis Duval – M1
