A spotlight on the Digital Arts Festival, an event taking place on 24, 25 and 26 May 2018 in partnership with Digital Campus Toulouse.

The Digital Arts Festival: discovering the digital world

For the second year running, the town of Saint-Orens-de-Gameville is organising the Digital Arts Festival! A unique three-day event to meet digital artists and get to grips with the latest digital tools. Discover Moulla and his augmented magic, DJs of "European renown" such as Marc Maya (Elrow), De La Swing (Elrow), Marek Hemmann and the Barcelona DJ duo LANOIRE. Discovery workshops, exhibitions and hands-on artworks will be on offer for a fun and accessible immersion in the world of digital arts, open to all.

Our school worked in close collaboration with the festival over two years. As part of the Major Projects, a group of students worked on the festival's communications. Creating the visual identity and then producing all the visual communication materials were key elements of this partnership. Our young talents also worked on building the website as well as on social media communications.

This project enabled the students to put their professional skills to use in a local cultural event. The work proved highly rewarding thanks to the viral spread of the communication materials online and across the south-east of the Toulouse area.
