On 6 October, Digital Campus Montpellier had the honour of presenting to its Bachelor, first-year Master's and Intensive Bachelor students the new companies and the challenges that together make up the annual Major Projects event.
The Major Projects programme immerses students in real-world challenges by creating cross-class groups that mix different year levels. After individually voting for their preferred projects and forming working groups, students will spend 6 months supporting their project sponsors as effectively as possible in the tasks assigned to them.
No fewer than 18 companies are taking part in this year's Major Projects at the Montpellier campus, including familiar partners such as:
- Andromède Océanologie and its Donia app, returning after a successful Hackathon, to implement a seasonal communications plan and advanced graphic design work.
- Toowood, back after a first Major Projects session during which students developed a B2C digital strategy, this time tackling its B2B approach and the creation of a showcase website.
This year's missions are varied, ranging from Motion Design work for Augefi to UI/UX improvements for the adventure games website On The Road a Game, as well as the ambitious webmarketing project for Skrypton — created by Digital Campus Montpellier alumni — which aims to enable future users to launch any type of business.
Now their adventure begins — and it won't end until the close of the year, with final oral presentations to showcase all their progress! Students will be supported throughout the programme by their teachers and coaches: Sébastien Cambon, project management and marketing coach, and Lucie Delplanque, academic director and communications coach.
