Saturday 30 September: a whole new kind of back-to-school and induction day for students at the Paris campus. The goal? Bring all students together — new and returning, bachelor, master, and preparatory — for a festive day packed with activities.
Getting to know each other and building connections
"You asked for it, we made it happen!" — the motto of this first induction day, born from the wishes of students and the Digital Campus team alike, to kick off the academic year on a festive note. The ultimate goal was to break the ice, encourage students from different year groups to get to know one another, build connections, and strengthen the sense of belonging to the Digital Campus network.
On the agenda: a scavenger hunt starting from the Paris campus, followed by an evening at an exclusive venue privatised for the occasion.
A scavenger hunt through the heart of Paris's French Tech districts
The day kicked off at 4:30 pm on the Paris campus. After a briefing and team formation, general knowledge riddles for team leaders marked the staggered start from campus.
For two hours, 17 teams solved puzzles, navigated a circuit from République to the 12th arrondissement in search of clues, and competed in ingenuity to earn as many points as possible and get closer to the secret address where the evening would take place. To stay true to the Digital Campus universe, the scavenger hunt's theme was the Parisian French Tech. Questions included: "give the definition of Silicon Sentier, name 3 start-ups from Silicon Sentier, guess how many start-ups are hosted at Pépinière 27".
To animate and orchestrate this challenge-filled scavenger hunt, the Digital Campus team called on the Boomrang agency, putting the creativity and cooperation of all participants — students and staff — to the test.
An unforgettable evening
After the excitement of the scavenger hunt came the moment students had been waiting for: the party. Everyone gathered at La Gamelle, where there was something to refuel on after an afternoon of walking: music and an unlimited buffet, a terrace, a photo booth to capture the smiles and shared laughter, and entertainment for every taste — trophy ceremony for the winning teams, mini-bowling, a game of pétanque (boules), foosball, and even a social media contest.
Ready to do it all again next year
This induction day, filled with warm exchanges, marked not only the start of a new academic year but also a shared desire to repeat the experience every year, welcoming new students into the Digital Campus community.
