Getting students to work on real-world projects is one of Digital Campus's core missions
To adapt quickly to the professional world and the realities of project management, Bachelor's students at Digital Campus in Bordeaux have the opportunity to work on a wide range of real or fictional projects throughout their course.
Third year is the most project-intensive year, and just before the final assessment — alongside the Bachelor project — students are challenged with a collective project lasting at least two months, focused on communications: the 360° Project.
The 360° Project involves creating a comprehensive digital communications strategy with the goal of reaching all available communication channels in order to engage the target audience in a consistent and effective way.
This communications approach requires students to propose actions across different media, including social networks and websites or even mobile applications.
The main challenge — as with the Major Projects format — is to strategically plan the various deliverables across teams and successfully bring everything together for the final presentation, which includes an oral pitch and a written submission.
This year, the rules changed for Digital Campus Bordeaux students. The 360° Project was linked to a course project led by the lecturer who has followed our students since first year, Gauthier Mespoulede, Digital Project Manager and founder of the agency l'Argentée.
Groups of 2 to 6 people were formed, mixing initiatives built from scratch with pre-existing ones. And for even more novelty and challenge, students are required to show tangible results and prove the effectiveness of their approach!
A great real-world experience with promising projects on a wide variety of topics, including:
- Digital media with the Taktik initiative, the entrepreneurship media @taktik_media and deasy web @deasyweb, the digital learning network
- Creating digital communication channels for a clothing store, Dmarques @dmarques
- Developing communications for a web agency, Duo Digital @duodigital…
In short, it covers the full spectrum — and our students went above and beyond to deliver thorough, well-argued presentations.
