DC Camp: a challenge set up by Digital Campus Bordeaux and Cdiscount.
Digital Campus Bordeaux is starting the new academic year with its first DC Camp, in partnership with Cdiscount. The French e-commerce giant — whose sales "jumped by 20%" in 2014 according to the business press, reaching 3.5 billion euros — has come to set a major digital challenge for Digital Campus Bordeaux students.

A challenge during which our Bordeaux students went head-to-head: 92 students, 3 cohorts (3rd year Bachelor Web Project Manager, 1st and 2nd year of the Master's in Digital Strategy), 10 teams, 5 days of reflection, 3 intensive nights of work, a jury of 5 Cdiscount professionals, 3 prizes at stake, and a special jury favourite award.

We had the pleasure of discovering the deliverables expected by the Cdiscount team and of applauding our winning teams on Friday 11 September at noon. The project is partly coordinated by Romain Dassy, who is simultaneously a Digital Campus Master's student and on a work-study contract at Cdiscount. "Being handed the keys to the site for a week like this — you couldn't ask for a better start to the school year", says the 27-year-old young professional. Romain aims to develop skills in e-marketing and e-commerce project management, and to share with his fellow students the opportunity of designing and managing a large-scale web project.
