Web2Day
This is the must-attend digital event of the summer in Nantes! Web2Day, held in June in Nantes, is now 11 years old and has grown enormously. Organised over three days, the festival covers many themes in the world of the web and communications: entrepreneurship, marketing trends, design and innovation.
For example, the 2019 edition welcomed more than 10,000 participants. To animate Web2Day, 225 speakers were invited, including professionals from the four corners of the globe: Gilles Satgé (CEO of Lucca), Inès Leonarduzzi (CEO of Digital For The Planet), André Manoukian (composer, music creator and columnist), Sarah Durieux (France Director of Change.org) and Olivier Dassonville (Digital Media Strategist at The Dark Pixel).

Since 2013, the start of the new school year in Nantes has been synonymous with the digital world. Every September, in partnership with Nantes Métropole, the Digital Week takes place. Over 10 days, hundreds of events are organised throughout the city of Nantes: conferences, workshops, hackathons and meetings with professionals! All events are open to everyone and free of charge.
Whether you want to discover new topics or deepen your expertise, you will find something for you during Digital Week: art, culture, education, technology or video games! In 2018, the festival brought together more than 80,000 participants.

DevFest Nantes is THE festival for developers! The event has been running for 8 years and attracts all who are curious about development, whether seasoned professionals or students. During DevFest, many themes are covered, including web technologies (APIs, frameworks…), cloud, big data and security. In total, nearly 100 speakers deliver conferences and workshops for more than 2,100 participants.
The great thing about the festival is that it is 100% community-driven and non-profit!

For 3 years now, in collaboration with Stereolux on the île de Nantes, the Motion Motion event has hosted a one-day festival dedicated to animated graphic art. Explore the world of animation through conferences, workshops, concerts and films screened throughout the day. It is the only festival entirely dedicated to motion design.
Discover motion design in all its forms: 3D, 2D, stop motion and traditional animation. At the last edition, more than 5,000 people attended the event, which is completely free and open to all.
