In groups of four, 3rd-year Bachelor Social Media & Influence students had to take on the role of an Art Direction agency and stage objects in order to showcase them in the style of an advertisement.
To make it easier to highlight the chosen object, students were encouraged to work with items that feature reflections or transparency.
Students began by bringing their vision to life through detailed shot sketches and inspiring moodboards.
They then had to carefully select props and set up lighting, as every detail contributes to creating a captivating atmosphere.
To demonstrate that their productions could be adapted across multiple formats, students used mockups to place them in context — such as a double-page magazine spread or a bus shelter advertisement.
Showcasing an object is a true art form. Between staging, photography, lighting and retouching, the 3rd-year Bachelor Social Media & Influence students drew on a wide range of skills to produce these professional-quality results.
