The closing ceremony of Digital Week took place on Friday, 29 November 2019, at the amphitheatre of Groupe ISM. Over 48 hours, from 27 to 28 November 2019, 55 teams of 8 students from the Engineering School and Digital Campus of Groupe ISM took part in the Hackathon on the digitalisation of traditional games and toys.
In the presence of Mr. Abdou Diouf, General Director of Groupe ISM, Mr. Mbaye Amar, Director of Digital Campus ISM, and Ms. Thérèse Faye Diouf, General Director of the National Agency for Early Childhood and the Children's Centres (ANPECTP — Agence Nationale de la Petite Enfance et de la Case des Tout-Petits), accompanied by Directors, Project and Programme Managers and Agency staff, as well as ISM students, competitors each presented their project in turn.
This event was held as part of the Hackathon on the digitalisation of traditional games and toys, organised by the National Agency for Early Childhood and the Children's Centres, L'Afrique C'est Chic World and Groupe ISM Digital Campus.
The Early Childhood Hackathon is organised as a lead-up to the Forum on the digitalisation and manufacture of traditional games and toys, a major innovation of the 2019 edition of the National Week of Early Childhood and the Children's Centres, scheduled from 9 to 15 December 2019.
The competition will close on 6 December 2019, and the best applications and/or games will be awarded on the day of the Forum, during the early childhood gala dinner on Friday, 13 December 2019, at the Museum of Black Civilisations.
