Some time ago, CNES (the French National Centre for Space Studies) launched a call for projects.
"Génération ISS", an adventure alongside Thomas Pesquet.
A French ESA astronaut, he has decided to take a project, an experiment or a device with him into space in late 2020, the date of his next mission aboard the ISS.
It is an original, futuristic competition in which Digital Campus Toulouse is taking part, along with the other schools on the ENOVA campus: ESG, ESARC Evolution and LISAA Toulouse.
To win the challenge set for all French students, Thomas Pesquet wants to gather artistic, media, technological and even scientific creations! Passionate about the stars, or just curious? This challenge will take you on a journey!

On 22 March, students from the Digital Campus Toulouse web school and from the three other schools on the ENOVA campus pitched in front of a jury to prove their motivation to work on this project.

A working group was formed and is now embarking on a project to meet this original challenge, never before seen at our school.

The aim is to introduce students to the space sector and deepen their knowledge of it, but also to train them in teamwork and in meeting the requirements of major missions.

The team is made up of:

  • Florian Vincent, professional instructor at the school and Project Manager for this challenge
  • Anthony Carcaillon, student and Digital Campus Coordinator
  • Pauline Lasgouzes, student and LISAA Coordinator
  • Pierre Furnemont: Designer and Developer

Students from Digital Campus Toulouse and the other schools on the campus therefore have until 7 June to present their work.

The names of the winning teams will be announced on 20 June at the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget (93).

So? Ready for lift-off?
