The Major Projects: a real dive into project mode. Client relations, communication techniques, team management — these are the key concepts of this educational module.

After 6 months of intensive collective work, the 29 Major Projects groups presented their solutions on Wednesday 7 March. A panel of industry professionals was on hand to assess the students' presentations and their creative output.

The Major Projects: a professional immersion

The Major Projects are an educational module within Digital Campus programmes. They bring all Digital Campus students together in groups to work on different projects. Major players in the Occitanie regional economy take part in the Major Projects by submitting real business challenges to the students. Logo creation, video production, website development, communication strategy proposals and more: here is an overview of the briefs our students were given.

29 projects, 3 winners

29 projects were presented at the Major Projects showcase at Gaumont. Among all these groups, 3 stood out with complete, creative and technically advanced projects. For this final stage, students had to defend their creative decisions and deliverables in an oral presentation of around fifteen minutes. The projects Makiba, Blagnac Energies Vertes and Ilek were the ones that caught our eye. For example, the students working on Ilek had to produce explanatory motion design videos. The aim was to reduce the volume of incoming calls to Ilek. 8 videos were therefore produced by this group to meet the client's needs.

Personal and collective growth

All classes mix together for this event. As a result, digital newcomers get to work alongside Mastère students. The Major Projects therefore foster a rich exchange of skills. The more experienced students quickly need to identify each person's strengths, propose a distribution of tasks and support those who are struggling. From an individual standpoint, this module encourages autonomy, offers a glimpse of professional life and provides real skills to those new to the web.
