It was at the Gaumont Labège cinema that the presentation of the Digital Campus Toulouse Major Projects took place on Wednesday, March 20.
What are the Major Projects?
It is a challenge carried out over six months by teams of students in the Bachelor's programme, in the upgrading year with the intensive-track Bachelor, as well as in the Master's programme at Digital Campus Toulouse. They put all their technical skill, all their knowledge, their creativity and their enthusiasm to work in order to provide innovative solutions for the project sponsors.
Every Wednesday from October to March, from 3 pm to 6 pm, all the students of the web school in Toulouse came together to work on real-world projects on behalf of organisations external to the school (companies, associations, institutions partnered with the Digital Campus network, etc.), supervised by a dedicated team of coordinators.
What did your project involve?
The company “Le drive tout nu” is a zero-waste supermarket. They use reusable glass packaging. My project consisted of producing a series of podcasts about the company's activity. The first video was an interview with the two founders, who presented the project and its challenges to us. Afterwards, we produced new podcasts with other contributors: customers, producers, and so on. We also had to create a website and a logo for the podcast series.
What was your role?
I was mainly in charge of producing the podcasts. I was responsible for sound recording and for video and photo production.
What do you take away from this project?
It was very original because podcast creation is something new within the Major Projects. I was a complete novice, so I was very curious to discover and to make podcasts.
