Studying at Digital Campus is also an opportunity for students to let their creativity flow freely…

At Digital Campus, students can work on subjects they are passionate about through projects. This contributes to the development of professional skills by experimenting with new ideas and collaborating with industry experts.

Today, the Bordeaux campus presents its take on a project embedded in the third-year Bachelor's curriculum, combining specialisms with autonomy: the personal project.

What is the personal project?

The personal project challenges third-year Bachelor's students to work on a topic of their choice, incorporating the specialism they chose to develop during the year.

It's an opportunity to bring their personal ideas — things they care about or are passionate about — to life in the form of a fictional, real or pre-existing project.

Chosen during their second year of the Bachelor's programme, the specialisms available at Digital Campus Bordeaux for 2023 are:

  • The Bachelor in Motion Design: creating graphic animations to communicate a message, as well as video production.
  • The Bachelor in UX Design and the Bachelor in Web Design: an in-depth approach to interface design for brand development, as well as multiple communication supports such as applications or websites, to make them effective and engaging.

These specialisms involve small working groups, which allows for a more collaborative approach to developing and refining skills, while providing more personalised support based on the chosen topics.

This substantial project runs over an 8-month period and concludes with a final oral presentation and written submission. But that doesn't necessarily mark the end… in fact, for some students, these projects are kept and developed externally or directly within the Master's programme via DC Start, a two-year supervised programme designed to guide students towards entrepreneurship.
