Take the example of William, who sat the entrance exam in April. A few days later, he was contacted by the school, which offered him an appointment to review his CV and guide him in his search for a work-study placement. Lise David, in charge of Corporate Relations, recalls: "William had a good CV but it needed to be reworked for a professional contract search in the digital sector (…) This step is crucial — it allows the student to begin their search with well-prepared tools."
During this meeting, William was given a guide of tips and best practices, along with access to the DC Rennes job offer platform.
"Thanks to Digital Campus, I was able to find a two-year professionalisation contract in an international environment. The company Solina trusted me and I have since been involved in major group-wide digital transformation projects."
Lucie Baudouin, the director, shares her perspective: "Of our 62 first-year Master's students, half found their company through a job offer posted by the school (…) More and more companies are reaching out to us to support them in the recruitment process."
William remained in regular contact with the school before the start of the academic year: invitations to afterwork events, mock interviews, and interview preparation and debriefs with Lise David, who confirms: "At DC Rennes, the Master's programme is offered exclusively through work-study, either as a professionalisation contract (contrat de professionnalisation): every effort is therefore made to ensure the best possible placement for our admitted students."
In Rennes, since the campus opened in 2013, more than 300 companies have recruited interns or work-study students. Lucie Baudouin adds: "Rennes is located in a very dynamic employment area made up of major established groups such as Yves Rocher and PSA; start-ups benefiting from schemes arising from the French Tech label and incubators; digital agencies, SMEs (…) Our students have the advantage of being able to rely on the school's network, which grows every week."
As a reminder, the Bachelor Web Project Manager and Master's in Digital Strategy Expert programmes are available as work-study courses.
