What better way to strengthen the bonds between students than a sports welcome day?

28 September, 9:30 a.m., a change of scenery: the students of Digital Campus Rennes arrive in small groups at the La Forme village, the sports facility of the Décathlon store, a partner of the school.

No classes today, no HTML, no graphic design — it's all about sport and a mandatory day out in the fresh air for the welcome day!

After a vitamin-packed breakfast outdoors, Hymen, an instructor at the Village, kicks off the warm-up for the 170 students from the Bachelor's, bridging-track and Master's programmes who are present, and we're off for a day all about sport and team spirit.

Archery, badminton, table tennis — the activities follow one after another and the atmosphere is fantastic! A few guest speakers came to lend a hand and turned out to be pros at refereeing. Some groups chose a dress code, while others were out to win…

It is almost 4 p.m. and the time has come to hand out the prizes to the winners: trophies, tickets to Stade Rennais matches, concert tickets… It was well worth giving it everything!, The student union (BDE) took over to organise a welcome party. The next day, happy students — a little sore and slightly tired — returned to the DC Rennes premises., A few days have gone by and the new term continues: projects are flourishing, the first (now traditional) snack gathering took place on Tuesday, before the launch of the major projects… Life is good at DC Rennes!
