Web careers are experiencing real growth!

While the job market is gloomy and redundancy plans are multiplying, some sectors continue to grow and to offer dynamic careers with strong hiring prospects. Web careers, in particular, are highly sought after by companies. Here is an overview of the profiles that are weathering the crisis:
 

  • Community Manager: responsible for bringing together and engaging online communities (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.), this role is especially valued by large companies present on social networks (L'Oréal, Leroy Merlin, Adidas, etc.) and by agencies (communications, web, advertising). Salary: €25k at the start of a career up to €55k for an experienced manager (source: Management magazine, April 2013).
     
  • E-business Consultant: responsible for proposing and implementing technical and organisational solutions using the internet to support the sales process, this consultant works within an IT services company (SSII) or a web agency on behalf of a client company.   • Web Marketing Expert: responsible for increasing the traffic and sales of websites, this role is especially in demand among online retailers, pure players (selling exclusively on the web) and agencies. Salary: €45k for a junior / €80k for a senior (seven years of experience).
