Spotlight on Antonin Fauret, project lead for Axolotech at Digital Campus Lyon.
What is Axolotech?
It is a young company creating the first tools that adapt to both the child and the learning process. Its product, the Totemigo, features educational content printed on interchangeable cards that allow you to switch from reading to fractions, from memory exercises to syntax. Anything is possible! The brief for Axolotech was to create a visual universe. Axolotech's tools are new, but they are entering a market saturated with publishers; the visual identity needed to make the brand recognisable and memorable to customers.
Yes! The Bachelor, Intensive Bachelor, and Master's students were able to build on the work already done and understand the ecosystem in which Axolotech operates. They listened, proposed ideas, and argued their case across a range of directions. The mascot they created is simple but effective. It is now featured across all of Axolotech's materials. A solid sign of satisfaction, wouldn't you say?
Among the deliverables: a mascot, a colour palette, packaging design, the creation of a landing page, brochures, and stickers… A truly varied range of content built from the visual identity guidelines.
Thank you DC!
What surprised me most was how the students managed to involve Axolotech in its own decision-making, and how they adapted the scope of the deliverables over time in response to the realities of running a business.
