Portrait of Emmanuelle Denoual Sirouet, a student in web professional training at Digital Campus, the web school in Rennes.

What is your background?

After studying applied arts and interior design, I worked for 8 years in the architecture sector (specifically in interior decoration). A rewarding experience that allowed me to combine my creativity with commercial activity and client relations.

Why did you choose Digital Campus?

Following a redundancy, I wanted to retrain in the Web sector, a growing field in constant evolution. I therefore chose the adult continuing education programme at Digital Campus Rennes.

Which areas of the Web interest you the most?, I am particularly interested in interactivity, graphic design, layout, and web marketing., Have you already had professional experience in the Internet sector?, Yes, during an internship at Web&Cow, a young Rennes-based company specialising in web marketing consultancy. I was able to discover various internet tools such as Google Adwords, Google Analytics and a mini mobile site. My missions were to promote the site and analyse its performance for better optimisation., What are your impressions after your first months of classes?, Very good. I appreciate the instructors who are both professional and pedagogical; they individually follow each of us, which allows us to progress at our own pace. The profiles of the trainees are rich and varied, which gives us the advantage of being able to draw on each other's skills. This training seems very comprehensive and covers the different aspects of creating a website: web design, web development and web marketing., What are your plans for the future?, At the end of the 6-month training, I will complete an internship as a web marketing manager. I would then like to be hired by a human-sized company where I can use my creativity and help optimise websites., , , See also: , - Women's Digital Day, - Draw me a digital career - Women entrepreneurs in digital, - Digital Ladies by DC - Women & Digital, - Workshops - In a women's prison, - Becoming responsible - Made for women? , - Camille's testimonial,
